Washington, D.C. – CyberNow Labs Institute proudly announces the launch the National Service Cybersecurity Scholarship Program, an investment of $500,000 in tuition assistance for the next generation of cybersecurity professionals dedicated to national service.
Each week for 10 weeks beginning in April, the cyber career school will award $50,000 in tuition scholarships for enrollment into its Certified Defense Security Analyst training program. This 12-week, part-time, and online instructor-led training is known for its hands-on training in a live Security Operations Center and is considered to be the biggest and most successful technical analyst career program in the world.
The scholarship selection process is designed to identify individuals with passion for cybersecurity and commitment to national service through the following criteria:
- National Service. Previous work or expressed desire to serve in any of the following capacities: Cybersecurity, Military, Government, Infrastructure, Emergency Services, Non-Profits (501c3), Education, Healthcare, Transportation, or Social Services.
- Technology Aptitude. Previous experience or observable capability to work productively in computer-based roles. Computer coding/programming is not required.
- Cyber Career Readiness. Availability to begin career training between April – June, with general schedule availability for online training on Tuesday and Thursdays from 7 – 10pm and Saturdays from 10am – 3pm Eastern time.
Scholarship Application Process
- Attend a Live Information Session held Tuesdays from 7 – 8pm and Saturdays from 11am – 12pm eastern time to receive the scholarship application link. CLICK HERE to register.
- Complete the application before Tuesday at 11:59pm eastern time to be considered for that week’s $50,000 scholarship allocation ($2,500 scholarship max per individual).
